Handmade micro macrame earrings made from tiny fossil ammonites which have naturally formed as hematite, which means that the mineral replacement of the organism happened in an environment rich in iron. The ammonites are each three quarters of an inch long and are very shiny when the light hits them just right. The ear wires are silver plated.
Somebody suggested I try making earrings, so I thought I would give it a go with some of my smaller stones and fossils. Success! I am happy with how they turned out.
