Nellite is a relatively uncommon quartz silicate crystal which forms when pietersite and tiger eye meet and contains the colours and properties of both stones. It is a blue and gold colour with its own unique depth and shine. It is another stone which is very hard to photograph well! This piece of nellite in one and a half inches long, it is secured in a micro macrame setting and threaded onto an adjustable length woven cotton cord with tiger eye, ebony wood and small metal beads.
