Very cool slagstone hagstone macrame necklace with jasper and wood beads FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE
This is an unusual one. This is a piece of slag glass, a product of the historic process of smelting iron. The slag was often dumped on the coast and now washes up as pretty and unusual pebbles tumbled by the sea. This piece seems to have had a large bubble in it, which has turned it into a hagstone. This is a very cool piece, which I found on my holiday last year along the beaches of the Lake District, which is rich in industrial history.
Slagstone hagstone macrame necklace with leopardskin jasper, wood and coconut shell beads in a micro macrame setting knotted to my own design. Threaded onto an adjustable length woven cotton cord.
Treasures from the sea! The beautiful piece of sea worn slag is just under one and a half inches long.
The slag glass is a genuine beach combing find. Most of my pieces are found on the lovely Isle of Wight, but some also come from my yearly holiday in the Lake District.
This necklace is one of a kind and you will always be sent the one in the current pictures. All items come with free shipping unless specifically stated otherwise and are usually shipped in one to three business days using Royal Mail.
Thank you for looking. Peace.
