Pirate glass necklace, old historic seaglass macrame pendant, with tiger eye and carnelian beads FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE

Pirate glass macrame necklace threaded onto an adjustable length woven cotton cord with tiger eye, carnelian, ebony wood and coconut shell beads. Please see the second picture for the glass with a bright light shining through it.

The piece of pirate glass on this necklace is one and a half inches long and is a nice greenish amber when you shine a bright light through it to reveal its secret colour.

Pirate glass is seaglass which is hundreds of years old and has slowly been worn into pleasingly smooth shapes by the sea. It appears black until you shine a bright light through it (the torch on a phone is best, as it is small and incredibly bright). It is hard to find as on the beach it looks like a pebble. It takes a while to learn to spot it, but once you get your eye in you can find two or three pieces in one trip, if you know the right spots to look! I collect my pirate glass along the south coast of the Isle of Wight. It is time consuming, but a real thrill every time I find a piece.

I have turned this piece of pirate glass into a macrame pendant, netting it in a similar way to an old glass fishing bouy, and threaded it with a selection of beads selected to really set it off.

This necklace is one of a kind and you will always be sent the one in the current pictures. All items come with free shipping unless specifically stated otherwise and are usually shipped in one to three business days using Royal Mail.

Thank you for looking. Peace.
