VERY RARE COLOUR Blue pirate glass with larimar, shells and lava stone beads, historic seaglass FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE
PLEASE READ: I met a lovely lady who had been collecting pirate glass on some of the same beaches as me for many years, and had built up a large collection which included some very special pieces, and even some colours I have never seen before! I told her that lots of people had been wanting to buy my pirate glass jewellery and that it was difficult to find enough to keep up with demand, and she decided to sell me quite a big chunk of her collection. She was sad to part with it, but it had just been sitting in bags and vases and she was happy it would go to places it would really be appreciated. So, for a while, I will be listing these pieces alongside the ones I have collected myself. There are some wonderful shapes and colours, from some very rich emerald green, to amber, reds, and even some blue and purple!!! Some of these are very rare so the price on them will be a little higher. I will most likely sell them only on a first come first served basis, as it gives everyone an equal opportunity of catching one. I usually list a few pieces at least once or twice a week, and these will appear mixed in with them during my usual shop updates.
Fully beaded handmade pirate glass macrame necklace with genuine larimar, tiny shells, black lava stone and little dyed bone spacer beads. Threaded onto strong cord with a sturdy lobster clasp.
The piece of pirate glass on this necklace is just over an inch long and is blue! That is genuinly a super rare colour. The necklace is 18 inches long. Please see the second image for the glass with a bright light shining through it.
Pirate glass is seaglass which is many hundreds of years old and has slowly been worn into pleasingly smooth shapes by the sea. It appears black until you shine a bright light through it (the torch on a phone is best, as it is small and incredibly bright). It is hard to find as on the beach it looks like a pebble. It takes a while to learn to spot it, but once you get your eye in you can find two or three pieces in one trip, if you know the right spots to look! I collect my pirate glass along the south coast of the Isle of Wight. It is time consuming, but a real thrill every time I find a piece.
This necklace is one of a kind and you will always be sent the one in the current pictures. All items come with free shipping unless specifically stated otherwise and are usually shipped in one to three business days using Royal Mail.
Thank you for looking. Peace.
