PLease read: I was sold this stone as ‘bio-prehnite’, which is a completely made up name! Prehnite is a green translucent stone, nothing like this at all, and searching the internet came up with no other results for ‘bio-prehnite’. I really wanted it, even though it was being sold under a false name, because it is gorgeous and unusual. I have done lots of research and looked at hundreds of pictures of rocks and have identified it as jasper, probably with quartz, as they are both made of silicon dioxide. This description is correct to the best of my knowledge.
Jasper with quartz macrame crystal pendant. The stone is one and five eighths of an inch long and the pendant is threaded onto an adjustable length woven cotton cord with jasper, wood and polished coconut shell beads.
