Large stromatolite fossil macrame necklace oldest organism on earth FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE
This is one of my favourite fossils. This is a stromatolite and it was formed by microscopic organisms which are believed to be the oldest lifeforms on the planet and which oxygenated the atmosphere making all other life possible. There is even evidence that it was these organisms that moved into the cells of proto-plants, forming a relationship with them and giving them the ability to photosythesize.
This is a large macrame pendant with a natural stromatolite fossil in a micro macrame setting knotted to my own design. The fossil is quite chunky and is one and three quarter inches long. The pendant is threaded onto an adjustable length woven cotton cord with turquoise, ebony wood and small metal beads.
